Frequently Asked Questions
We offer a different experience and this can naturally arouse curiosity. On this page we aim to clarify all your questions so that you can learn more about the floating lounge concept.

The substructure, manufactured from 5083 series marine-grade aluminum, is optimized to meet the required strength criteria and offers high resistance to impacts and environmental effects. High-density polyethylene (HDPE) tubes provide sufficient buoyancy, increasing the stability of the floating lounge and contributing to a balanced and secure stance in wave and current conditions.
Anchoring system of the floating lounges is detailed in the next section.
The anchoring system is designed on a project-specific basis, taking into account seabed characteristics, coastal conditions, and local environmental factors.
Appropriate combinations of equipment are selected accordingly to ensure safe and stable fixation.
The floating lounge is secured at three points using high-strength polyester ropes, galvanized chains, low-friction connection components, and an anchor/mooring block configuration. This system allows the unit to maintain its position and heading in a stable manner against waves, wind, and currents.
All mooring components are selected specifically for each project, considering local wind, wave, and current loads, required storm safety margins, and continuous exposure to saltwater. By prioritizing corrosion resistance and mechanical performance in material selection, potential risks under harsh marine conditions are mitigated, ensuring structural safety as well as long-term operational continuity and reliability.
Electricity is generated by a solar panel integrated into the roof of the lounge. The electricity generated from solar energy is stored in LiFePo4 batteries placed under the furniture, providing uninterrupted power supply throughout the day. This system ensures that lighting, water pumps and other electrical equipment operate in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner.
The energy production capacity of the solar panels was calculated separately for each lounge. After the calculations, certain margins were added to the result and solar panels that would more than meet the needs of all electrical systems were used.
LiFePo4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries used in floating lounges have approximately 3000-5000 charge cycles. This translates to a lifespan of approximately 8-10 years with daily full discharge and charge cycles.
If there is a Wi-Fi transmitter in the business, a receiver is placed in each floating lounge. The song played from the business's speakers is simultaneously played from the lounges' speakers through this receiver. Here, how far the floating lounges will be from the shore and whether there is an obstacle in front of them are important criteria. In this synchronized system, customers can also switch to Bluetooth mode.
If the business does not have a Wi-Fi transmitter, the customer can still be given the opportunity to play the song they want with a unit that has Bluetooth mode.
In a marine environment where sound waves propagate without hitting an obstacle, noise pollution is inevitable if there is a sound system in the lounges. In order to prevent this, a precaution such as limiting the sound level can be taken.
The furniture sponges used are covered with marine fabric specially designed for the marine environment. This special fabric, which is resistant to salt water, moisture and the damaging effects of the sun, offers long-lasting use. It can be easily cleaned, does not retain water and has a fast-drying feature.
In order to improve corrosion resistance, zinc anodes are incorporated into the floating lounges, and metal components are manufactured using marine-grade materials.
Floating lounges are designed based on the principle of modular construction . The load-bearing and critical structural components of the construction are manufactured ready-made and welded at the production facility. Secondary and supplementary structural elements are assembled at the project site using bolt-nut combinations. Thanks to this system, floating lounges are shipped in disassembled parts; and thanks to their modular structure, they can be safely transported worldwide by road (truck) . The shipped structural elements are assembled quickly, controllably, and can be disassembled again if necessary at the project site.
Installation can be carried out on-site by our team, upon request.
The commissioning of floating lounges is planned as a safe and controlled process and is generally carried out when sea and weather conditions are calm. Floating lounges are deployed into the sea in a controlled manner using a crane with a minimum capacity of 2 tons, via special lifting points on board. Due to their low draft, a great water depth is not required for this operation.
After launching, the floating lounges are towed by a zodiac boat or service boat to a pre-determined anchoring area. Since the anchoring system's chains, ropes, and fasteners are pre-attached to the mooring buoys and marked with them, the anchoring process is completed quickly, controllably, and safely.
This method allows the installation process to be easy, the need for divers to be kept to a minimum, and the floating lounge to be made ready for operation in a controlled manner.
Commissioning can be carried out by our team upon request, together with the installation process.
